By chance, a friend gave me a book called Murder at La Fenice for Christmas. It is a murder mystery set in Venice and I am loving it. Apparently, the author, Donna Leon, has created a kind of genre of mysteries set in Venice. I am not sure if you enjoy reading but, if you do, I recommend having a look at this one.
